After seven years in commercial construction, Doug Boser founded Boser Construction, Inc. from his Sauk Rapids, MN home. In 1999, their first office and warehouse was built — a space they continue to operate from today.

Doug created Inventure Properties, LLC — then called Construction Land Development, LLC — to purchase underdeveloped properties and hold short-term development assets.

As the construction industry teetered on the edge of the Great Recession, Inventure received funding and broke ground on their first major commercial project at 2035 Plaza. Construction completed in 2009.

Inventure redeveloped the Granite Bowl site in downtown St. Cloud into a modern home for Quinlivan & Hughes, P.A. In 2015, they completed their first historical rehabilitation — the First National Bank of St. Cloud, originally built in 1889.

Boser Construction was sold to two longtime employees, allowing a sharper focus on real estate and development. Inventure's offices moved to a historic building at 117½ 5th Ave. South, St. Cloud, MN.

Inventure served as owner's representative for Toppan Merrill's $6M, 100,000 sq ft addition in Sartell, MN. The Inventure Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was formed to better the Central Minnesota community.

Inventure redefined commercial real estate services with the launch of Inventure Real Estate, LLC, helmed by Austin Ruehle, Vice President of Real Estate.

A larger investment group was assembled to acquire Brooklyn Crossing — a 100,000 sq ft, 5-building office park in Brooklyn Center, MN.

A landmark year of growth: Inventure Real Estate added 4 real estate agents, expanded its financial accounting group, and grew the property management service team to serve a wider portfolio.

Inventure Capital launches, a dedicated investment platform extending the Inventure ecosystem into fund investing, acquisitions, and asset management. The team also opens a new downtown home at 24 8th Ave South, St. Cloud, MN 56301.
